Natural Beauty

I was up North a few weeks ago, and took these awesome pictures of a butterfly. It's a funny story actually, there it sat on the back of a chair, and I reached out my hand. Instead of startling and flying away, it climbed aboard. At that point it was difficult. Although I had my camera handy, I would typically shoot with my right hand on the shutter. In this case, I had to use my left - quite awkward, but I managed. The results, as you see here were worth every effort. (Click on photo to see larger view). I struggled at first scrapping these photos, but finally came up with this. It actually came together very quickly once I figured it out. I kept the page very simple in order for the focus to remain on the photos.
